2018 Pinot Noir North Coast
Grown in some of the most notable vineyards in California’s North Coast appellation, including the Haire and Mahoney Vineyards, this wine consists of many different lots of Pinot with a focus on bright fruit and balance.
By combining clonal selections of Pinot Noir as an artist combines colors on his palate, winemaker Ken Foster is able to craft a wine that showcases the qualities that best define North Coast grown Pinot Noir.
On the nose, aromas of freshly picked cherry cola, raspberry, and strawberry abound. From the first sip to the last, this Pinot Noir fills the palate with bright red fruit character that is enhanced by notes of oak and spice. The wine’s acidity is in perfect balance and the mouthfeel is supple and broad – a hallmark of superb Pinot Noir.
