2023 Pinot Noir Rosé Sonoma Coast
About: This year marks our 21st year making Pinot Noir Rosé at Fleur de California, and only our fourth year with the Sonoma Coast appellation.
Tasting Notes: Dry and crisp, with lingering citrus, strawberry and watermelon flavors. Bright and good acid for meal pairing.
Winemaking: Our Rosé is made from grapes picked and pressed early in the season, rather than by saignée (the process of draining juice from red fermenters). Primarily comprised of the Martini clone of Pinot Noir, the grapes were pressed without skin contact, and the juice fermented cold in stainless steel. The wine was aged on the yeast lees in stainless for three months.
